Our Mission
It is our mission at Temple Emanu-El to provide an environment of study, song and celebration where our children and our families explore and embrace Judaism in a modern world. Our goal is to provide programming which inspires our students to be thoughtful, committed and engaged young Jews with a connection to Israel and Jews around the world. We want our students to become knowledgeable of our history and heritage, learn to face the challenges of today through our Jewish values, Tikkun Olam and Tzedakah, and look forward to shaping our Jewish community of tomorrow.
The Diamond Family Religious School offers an excellent curriculum of Judaic and Hebrew studies, servicing students from kindergarten through seventh grade. In addition, we have the ONEG and TEFTY program for high school students and the Jr. TEFTY for middle school children. Many of our high school and middle school children are involved in these groups.
The Schiff Preschool builds the foundation for your child’s Jewish identity while developing the social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills every child needs to develop a positive self-image. Schiff Preschool offers brand new facilities including spacious classrooms and a new playground in a safe, secure environment.
The Tot Shabbat program provides a means for the youngest children to participate in Jewish ritual in a fun and imaginative way.

TOT SHABBAT: Join us with your infants, toddlers, and children up to age five at 9:30 AM in the Brill Family Youth Sanctuary Saturday mornings throughout the year. Next Tot Shabbat: TBD. Come celebrate together as a family and delight in Shabbat with a mini-service of singing, featuring our new Preschool Siddur, and story time. There is always a Jewish craft project and a Kiddie Kiddush.
