As many who read this know, we have Atlanta’s best kept secret downstairs, vibrant classrooms fi lled with children who just love coming to preschool! Our teachers are certifi ed and trained throughout their careers as preschool educators, kept abreast of the latest technologies, techniques and special programs and services made available to us year round.
Our MOTTO: Us and Our Children...
The Schiff Preschool welcomes all children. Our parents love the warmth, love and care we shower on our students. We teach them from the beginning that Learning Can Be Fun!
Our 2009-10 Theme: Get Caught Reading...
Yes, we are reading to our bright young stars. Many of you joined us at The Jewish Book Festival on NOV 9 where we will read to children in various rooms, including Shel Silverstein (our very own Andi Miller was there!) On NOV 3, Davis Academy students were paired with our preschoolers as book buddies. We have since visited Davis to return the favor this past February!
We are helping to raise Mensches...
We are quite active in the community, teaching our young children the importance of giving to the community and our part in making the world a better place. Our Tzedakah programs last throughout the year and support the Sandy Springs Social Action. We collect and donate books, toiletries and other necessities year-round, and especially during the holidays. We participate significantly with the Annual Operation Isaiah food drive for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We cultivate our fresh produce in Garden Isaiah as well.
We support our teachers...
New this year, we have a Behavioral Specialist, Wendy Versoza, who supports the teachers with hands-on approaches and learning techniques in the classroom. We have a Speech and Language Specialist, Carrie Marks, and are proud to be an approved AMIT Early Intervention Preschool in Speech Language Therapy.
We are here for our parents...
We have one of the fi nest, most hands-on and loving before and after-care programs in Atlanta. We off er extra curricular activities as well, including dance, ballet, drama, playball, computers, and general care. Our students are prepared for Kindergarten with a strong Judaic foundation. We are accepting applications for the 2009-10 school year and strongly urge you to act now, we have limited spaces.
New! Vision and Language Screenings...
