Leah Lambert

Leah Lambert, author of The Unveiling (and aunt of Camp Coleman Director, Bobby Harris), will be our special speaker at Shabbat services on March 19.
Ms. Lambert has had an extensive career in education, social work, research and planning. Her father – a brilliant man from a respected family – suffered from mental illness.
The resulting sense of loss and shame had a profound impact upon her family. Ms. Lambert wrote The Unveiling (her debut novel) to celebrate her mother’s courage and demonstrate the healing that takes place when we free ourselves from the secrecy and stigma too often surrounding the mental illness of loved ones.
Ms. Lambert will share her family’s experiences and the lessons learned.
Copies of The Unveiling will be available starting March 5 in the Sisterhood Gift shop or can be ordered before Shabbat services on March 19th. Special Author's Pricing for TE Members and our guests that evening.
