Dear Men of Temple Emanu - El,
It is time to renew your brotherhood membership or join brotherhood for the first time. Brotherhood membership is open to all men of Temple Emanu - El. We offer interesting, informative, and participative programs for our members and their families and friends, as well as newcomers who wish to become involved in our brotherhood community.
Brotherhood serves as a social link to bind the men of the congregation. We have a full calendar planned for the upcoming year. We hope that the various programs and events will enhance your spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being. Our goal is to enrich the lives of our Brothers, as Jewish men, husbands and fathers, and to support our congregation and community at large.
The brotherhood provides a unique environment for men who wish to show their children and grandchildren the value of Jewish social and cultural engagement. We support the needs of the community and temple while providing the men of the congregation with opportunities for fellowship and camaraderie. We work together, support each other, and form a community of men in accordance with the traditions and values of reform Judaism.
Brotherhood is a group of men that pride themselves on the following:
• Opportunities for men to participate in and contribute to our congregation
• Creating a warm, caring, men's community.
Please support our important work by joining. New this year is a tiered membership program. Please consider joining at a higher level which will help us defray program fees. Beyond the satisfaction of knowing that your sponsorship directly impacts the vibrancy of our temple community, we hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy brotherhood-supported activities in the near future. Even if you can't come out to our activities, you can still support us by becoming a member of brotherhood.

Ushers are always needed...
One of the many ways Brotherhood supports our synagogue is by providing ushers for High Holy days as well as Friday nights. While the response we receive for ushers during the Holy days is phenomenal, we always seem to be in need of Friday night Ushers. We are not asking for every Friday night, but if you have the ability to help out 1 or 2 nights a year that would make a huge difference.
If you haven’t been to services in a while or want to meet some people, or even couples who would like to help out together, then we ask that you contact Larry Brown at: accldb@langate.gsu.edu or Rochelle Rubin in the temple office.
